Daisho Con was a couple of weekends ago (I won 2nd in the Master’s Category with my Howl costumes!), and with that, my convention season is over. I ended up going to more this year than normal. Besides Anime Detour, Anime Central, CONvergence, and Daisho Con-
I finally made it to Dragon*Con! After years of wanting to go, it actually became a thing. We enjoyed it so much that my boyfriend and I are going to try to make it again next year.
I also went on Saturday of Anime Fusion to help judge the masquerade. It was my first time doing so, and I was pretty nervous. It was a lot of fun though, and I definitely wouldn’t mind doing so again!
I didn’t finish as many projects as I had hoped this year. Between work and classes, I’ve been pretty tired and lacking in motivation. I have big plans for next year though, so I’m hoping to pick up the slack and accomplish more. So far my goals are to finish remaking parts of Saber and Archer and finish Cloud City Leia and Marion Ravenwood. Some of us are also doing a Princess Mononoke group and other Saber outfits as well, so I have my work cut out for me.
In the meantime, I’ll probably be uploading some more pictures from Daisho Con.
