Sunday of ACen a few of us got together for a Firefly group. Fun fact (not really): the location of our photoshoot was ridiculously warm. While some of us were waiting our turn, we chilled out in the other part of the sky-walk by the AC units where we could actually breathe.

I made it actually, so I'm afraid I can't help you much in your search. I can tell you where I ordered my teddy bear patch for it though if you'd like.

Wow that's amazing, it must have taken you hours and hours, I dont have a sewing machine and making one would be a lot out of my skill range (first attempt at cosplay ever, i can alter things but making from scratch is a whole different ball game)

If you could tell me where you got the patch that would be great anything that would help. I'm trying to find a closeup shot of the characters and i already found a little heart patch.

Thanks so much for the help :)

It didn't take as long as it usually does for me- less than a couple of months. I had to make a jumpsuit a couple of months before starting it, so it went a bit smoother because of that. My first couple of costumes were a combination of clothing I bought and altered and parts that I made on my own. It been a long road of trial and error for me, lol.

[link] Here's where I purchased the bear patch at. The heart patch I lucked out on and found at one of my local fabric stores. She's also got a little flower patch at her waist too if you haven't seen that. I had to hand embroider that sucker since I couldn't find anything close enough to it. [link] If you're still needing closeups, this site has some good one of the details of her outfit. Hope that helps!

It's nice to actually see a guy jayne. Most cosplay groups have a girl play him and it just doesn't look right.

Oh, really? I think all the Jaynes I've encountered so far have been male.

I don't know. I've always seen females. But maybe I'm just sheltered :P
