Mid 2016 Update

Hi, folks!  It's been a while since my last entry, so I figured I'd give a quick update.  2016 has been incredibly busy for me.  I finished school, started a new job, and moved into a new place.  I'm almost out of the woods and can hopefully give more time to my costuming again very soon.  There's still plenty left to unpack, but our place is beginning to look like home, and I now also have a sewing room to work on things.  I've got some more Sailor Mars photos to upload in the meantime and am working on setting up a photoshoot or two, so keep an eye out!

I made it to 30,000 pageviews at some point within the past 24 hours.   After I saw that, I then realized I haven't done a journal in ages, so here it is.

Life's been keeping me pretty busy lately.  I'm currently finishing up my degree and trying to find an internship while balancing homework with work.  Anime Nebraskon was last weekend, and I have DaishoCon to look forward to shortly.  That will be my last con for the year, and I doubt I'll be going to any more until the spring.

After the convention ends, I have a couple of costumes I'll be trying to work on.  Princess Leia and Link have been in limbo for quite some time, so the focus is going to be on them for a while, because I'd really, really  like to wear both at some point next year.  I also have Legend of Korra costumes I'll be working on for my boyfriend and I that I plan on starting most likely after the new year.

So that's about it for now.  I have a lot of photos I'll be continuing to upload from the last couple of conventions I went to, so keep an eye out for them!

End of the Semester Update

I broke down yesterday and renewed my premium membership for a year.  I wanted to organize my galleries a bit more, and I’m hoping that since I spent some money on it, this will motivate me to be more active again.  I’ve been uploading pictures here and there, but not much else, so maybe a membership will change this.

This semester has been absolutely dreadful, but it’s almost over, which means I’ll have a bit more free time again for projects.  So far this year has been stressful in general, and not just because of classes, so I'm really looking forward to my next convention as a mini vacation.  Speaking of which, next up for me is Anime Central and CONvergence.  Hope to see some of you there!

Updating Again and Conventions

Oh man, I have been neglecting this site for quite a while.  I'm going to try getting back into the habit of updating again and responding back to people.  I have messages from last year I never got around to answering!

I have still been chugging away on costumes, but I haven't been on the ball with posting pictures of them.  Some of them I don't have any decent shots of either, something I hope to remedy at some point.  I will be participating in a Hellsing photoshoot later this month, so I will have photos from that eventually.  I'll be breaking out Pip again for it!  I have some small details to fix up by then.

Convention-wise I have two left this year:  Anime Fusion and Anime Nebraskon.  I hope to see some of you there!
