I can't believe I never put up a picture of my finished shield, so here it is now. I'm quite proud of it in spite of some obvious faults. I wish I would have tried making some of the details a little more sharper as opposed to the rounded edges they ended up being. For information on how I made the basics of this shield, I have them on an in-progress picture of it from a while back:
You can't see the back in this picture, but I tried to get as many details in it as well such as including the handle being wrapped with a leather strip.

btw i seen some like this at a store called "asian gifts" at my mall lol but there not as good they look very close to this but the only thing that is wrong with those is the red bird is not centered as well just want to state great job again.
